National and international stakeholders are writing to encourage the government of Morocco to advocate for ambitious climate targets at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in the context of the GHG mid-term measures negotiations. Considering the strategic position of Morocco along key maritime routes and as a nation with a clear potential to become a green hydrogen hub, the country stands at a critical juncture to lead the transition towards zero and near-zero emission fuels (ZNZ fuels), especially those based on green hydrogen.​
